REFUND, CANCELLATION & ATTENDANCE POLICY
At RVA Tumbling Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality instruction in a safe, supportive, and structured environment. Because class sizes are intentionally limited and enrollment reserves a specific spot in class, consistent attendance and clear policies help us maintain the quality of our programs for all athletes.

Enrollment & Tuition
Membership tuition is billed monthly and reserves your athlete's placement in a specific class. Tuition secures a recurring spot in the program and is not based solely on the number of classes attended each month.
Payment must be received prior to participation. Memberships remain active until canceled according to our cancellation policy.
2. Attendance, Cancellations & Makeup Classes
We understand that illness, school events, and family commitments occasionally arise.
Members who notify RVA Tumbling Academy at least 24 hours before a missed class may receive one makeup class per month, subject to availability and coach approval.
Missed classes with less than 24 hours notice, no-shows, or unused makeup opportunities are forfeited and are not eligible for refunds, credits, or additional makeup classes.
Private Coaching sessions require a minimum of 24 hours notice to reschedule. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged in full.
3. Membership Cancellation Policy
Memberships may be canceled at any time by providing written notice before the next billing cycle.
Membership fees already processed are non-refundable. Cancellation prevents future billing but does not generate refunds for unused classes, missed classes, or remaining days within the current billing period.
4. Refund Policy
Program tuition and membership payments are generally non-refundable.
Exceptions may be considered for documented medical conditions, serious injuries, military relocation, or significant family emergencies. Approved exceptions may be issued as a prorated credit, account credit, or partial refund at RVA Tumbling Academy's discretion.
5. Class Placement & Program Eligibility
Athletes are placed into classes based on age, experience, skill readiness, safety considerations, and coach evaluation.
RVA Tumbling Academy reserves the right to adjust class placement when necessary to ensure athlete safety, appropriate progression, and a positive training environment.
6. Holidays & Scheduled Closures
RVA Tumbling Academy observes select holidays and facility closures throughout the year. Membership pricing reflects annual operating schedules and planned closures.
When major holiday closures significantly impact a scheduled class, RVA may offer designated makeup opportunities at its discretion. Scheduled holiday closures do not automatically qualify for refunds, credits, or prorated tuition.
7. Inclement Weather & Facility Closures
If RVA Tumbling Academy cancels classes due to severe weather, power outages, facility issues, or coach emergencies, affected families will be provided a makeup opportunity, account credit, or alternative solution determined by RVA Tumbling Academy.
8. Assumption of Risk
Participation in tumbling, athletic training, open gym activities, and related programs involves inherent physical risks. All participants must maintain current waivers and required documentation before participating in any RVA Tumbling Academy activity.
